Where It All Started

It was the 4th of July, 2020, in Port Austin, Michigan.

The waves were crashing along the shoreline. The sun felt perfect. Cold drinks in hand. No schedules, no rush — just time. That was the first time we ever played cornhole.

We were hooked.

At the time, the world was upside down. COVID had shut everything down, and like a lot of people, we suddenly had more time than we knew what to do with. So we did what made sense: we went home and built a set of boards.

Then friends came over.

Then a friend asked if we could build them a set.

Then their friends wanted one.

Then strangers started showing up.

Before we knew it, our two-car garage was full, cars were lining the road, and neighbors were politely (and sometimes not-so-politely) letting us know it was time to grow up and move the operation somewhere else.

And just like that, Cornhole & Beyond was born.

Built in Michigan. Built by Real People.

We are veteran-owned, Michigan-based, and hands-on in everything we do.

We’re not a massive corporation. We’re not trying to be.

We build quality gear, take pride in our work, and stand behind every order that leaves our shop.

Most of our business comes from word of mouth and referrals, not aggressive marketing or gimmicks. That tells us everything we need to know: when people get our products, they talk about them.
